Alex Robinson leaves Panthers, joins Giants

Nelson Giants (NBL) added to their roster 29-year old American point guard Alex Robinson (185cm-82kg-1995, college: TCU). Robinson moves to Nelson after playing at Panthers up until last week. In 6 games he recorded 17.7ppg, 5.8rpg, 5.0apg and 1.8spg. He also played for Falcons in Indian INBL where in 11 games he averaged 15.1ppg, 6.5rpg, 9.4apg (leader !!!) and 2.4spg (leader !!!). Robinson helped them to make it to the semifinals. Good season as he was named League Player of the Week.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and of course North America). Robinson has played previously professionally in Australia (Raiders), Austria (BC Vienna), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers), NBA G League (SLC Stars, Santa Cruz Warriors, Indiana Mad Ants, Iowa Wolves and Cleveland Charge) and Ivory Coast (Abidjan Basket Club).
He won NIT championship title in 2017.
Robinson graduated from Texas Christian University in 2019 and it is his sixth season as a professional player. He played also for Texas A&M University for one year.
